Liberty Promotes Anabella Frontado to Head of War & Terrorism, US and Latin America

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Anabella Frontado to the newly created role of Head of War & Terrorism, US and Latin America (LATAM). Frontado will dually report to William Goldberg, Chief of Staff, LSM US & LATAM and Mike Burle, interim Global Head of War & Terrorism. Frontado’s promotion is effective immediately and she is based in Miami, US.

With more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, working within the UK, US and LATAM markets, Frontado is perfectly placed to lead LSM’s market-leading, global underwriting team. Frontado will be responsible for the profitable growth of the line in the US and LATAM while continuing to work closely with claims and underwriting teams to provide solutions for clients and brokers.

Lillian Hua, Underwriting Specialist, War & Terrorism, US and LATAM continues to support the team. Deiby Rios joins the organization on 25th March as Underwriting Officer. Both will write business in both LATAM and US and report to Frontado.

Frontado has held a number of key roles since joining LSM in 2011, most recently as Underwriting Officer, War and Terror, North America. Before that, she was Underwriting Manager, Casualty, Latin America for a decade. Both roles were based in Miami. Prior to joining Liberty she has had several Liability roles.
