Chair of the International Underwriting Association (IUA)

The market organisation for non-Lloyd’s international and wholesale insurance and reinsurance companies operating in the London market.

Deputy Chair of the Banks Underwriters’ Group (BUG)

The group represents insurance companies and markets (in both the Lloyd’s and company market) who currently underwrite financial institutions business. Joe will become Chair in 2021.

Chair of the IUA’s Professional Indemnity Forum (PIF)

PIF is a London market group for professional indemnity underwriters. The PIF aims to promote sound principles for the best practice of professional indemnity insurance. It provides an opportunity for discussion and education on all relevant underwriting, claims and technical matters.

Chair of the IUA Cyber Forum and Deputy Chair of the LMA’s Cyber Underwriting Business Panel

The Panel comprises 21 underwriting representatives from the Lloyd’s market who identify issues considered to be of interest or concern to LMA members, for discussion within the Panel and referral as appropriate to the relevant LMA Standing Committee and the LMA Executive.
