Meghan Walker

Biography

Meghan Walker was appointed Head of Aviation, Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) in January 2020. She is responsible for the underwriting strategy, performance and profitability of the Aviation and Aviation War portfolios.  

Meghan joined Liberty in 2013 as Senior Underwriter focusing on Airlines.  She was promoted to Underwriting Manager in 2018 and then Head of Aviation in 2020. 

Meghan has over 20 years of aviation experience both as underwriter and broker in the London and US markets for Airline, General Aviation, Aerospace/Products, Banks/Lessors and War.  Meghan has been instrumental in the development and delivery of an innovative insurtech product and is active in portfolio performance initiatives across LSM.  Meghan is the Deputy Chair of the IUA Aviation Technical Committee, an active member Lloyd’s Market Association and enjoys mentoring and coaching talent. She was the recipient of Business Insurance’s 2023 Women to Watch EMEA award. 

Meghan graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a B.S. in Human & Organizational Development (Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness).
