Silvia Valenzuela joined Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) in Spain in June 2017. She takes cares of the D&O line in Spain & Portugal and leads a team of three underwriters. Additionally, she is a PI and Cyber underwriter for the Mediterranean business area in Spain.
Silvia joined LSM in 2017 as D&O manager.
She joined LSM from Zurich where she was head of Financial Institutions and D&O for more than seven years, leading a team of five people, responsible for a variety of products, including Directors and Officers Liability, Bankers Blanket Bond, Bankers Professional Liability and Commercial Crime
Her first insurance experience was in 2002 at Marsh where she spent eight years in the trade credit department as an account executive.
She has a degree in Economics.
