Richard Wheeler

Biography

Richard Wheeler was appointed to this role in April 2019. He works across the specialty binders division to support the development of strategic relationships with core coverholders to provide cross class and multi-line solutions.

Richard has been at Liberty since 2008 working on the specialty property binders portfolio. During this period he has progressed from assistant underwriter to underwriter and then on to senior underwriter prior to his current role. His territorial scope has increased from solely non-US exposures to a worldwide reach.

Prior to Liberty, Richard was at Argenta Syndicate for four years as an underwriting assistant on the international property account, working on open market and delegated authority lines.

Richard has a BSc (Hons) and is ACII qualified.
