Biography
Rachael Lukehurst took on the role of Head of Private Equity at the beginning of 2023.
The Liberty PE Practice drives value for PE funds and their brokers, working closely with global underwriting teams, to generate and review accretive prospects across multiple business lines. Appetite alignment, service and solution orientated broker and client engagement cement long terms working partnerships with PE funds and their portfolio companies.
Before her appointment to her current role, she was Head of Revenue Transformation for 4 years and spent eight years as the Marine Hull underwriter at Liberty co-managing the hull account and coordinating broker and client engagement to achieve planned business targets. Prior to this she was on the Liberty graduate training scheme where she was part of the personal accident team, the political risk team, the property binders team, and she managed and oversaw the running of seventh pillar which led to the acquisition of LSM Italy.
Rachael joined Liberty in 2007 from RPC where she was a loss adjusting assistant and paralegal.
Rachael has a BA Hons in History and Ancient History from the University of Nottingham.
