Michael Briggs has more than 10 years’ experience within the London Insurance Market focusing on Commercial PI insurance. Michael graduated from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Laws degree before embarking on a career in insurance as a Claims Handler at Collegiate Management Services Limited.
He joined Liberty as an Underwriter in 2018 focusing primarily on supporting the UK Independent Financial Adviser and Mortgage Intermediaries primary account. In 2021, he moved to another major UK Insurer to underwrite a variety of international and domestic business across all professions which included a secondment to Hong Kong/Singapore.
Throughout this time, he has continued to broaden his underwriting capabilities by gaining valuable experience in other professions including Solicitors, Accountants, Miscellaneous, Architects and Engineers.
