Liberty Specialty Markets appoints Laura Burns as Head of Client Management

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Laura Burns to the newly created role of Head of Client Management. She takes up the role with immediate effect.

In her new role Burns is responsible for managing client relationships for LSM’s London Market brokers and global products, and for building and delivering a focussed client management strategy to meet their needs. She is based in London and reports to Mark Stephenson, Head of Business Development.

Mark Stephenson said, “The role is designed to give us an in-depth understanding of our clients evolving wants and needs, so that we can deliver high performance to support them. Laura’s knowledge and experience of the London Market, along with her excellent relationship building skills will be key to helping her to deliver a robust client management strategy.”

Burns joined LSM in 2010. Her most recent role was Head of Broker Management in the London Market. Prior to joining LSM she worked for Mitsui Sumitomo. She has significant experience of working with clients and client management. She started her insurance career in 2006.
