Liberty Specialty Markets appoints Bjoern Reusswig to Terrorism and Contingency role

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group announced the appointment of Bjoern Reusswig to the role of Regional Line of Business Manager, Terrorism and Contingency, Central Europe. Reusswig reports to Pierre-Edouard Fraigneau, Chief Underwriting Officer, Europe and takes up the role on 1 July. He will be based in LSM’s offices in Cologne, Germany.

Reusswig will be responsible for growing the Political Violence, Terrorism, and Contingency books of business across Continental Europe, providing leadership on LSM’s underwriting strategy, guidelines and product offering for Terrorism and Contingency, and for ensuring sustainable profitable growth in this complex and challenging sector.

Reusswig joins LSM from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE, Munich where he was Head of Global Political Violence & Hostile Environment Solutions. He has over 16 years of experience in the Terrorism sector working in multiple roles across the European insurance market.
