New appointments Liberty Specialty Markets Netherlands

Following the appointment of Nicole Nijhuis as Manager Casualty & Environmental Impairment Liability, the team will continue to grow with two appointments. On February 1, Jeffrey van de Ham and Stef Piers will join Liberty  Specialty Markets as casualty underwriters.

Jeffrey has worked in the insurance industry since 1997 and comes from Van Lanschot & Partners where he worked as a broker for 12 years. Jeffrey not only brings his knowledge and experience as a broker, but he also has an excellent reputation in the market. Nicole Nijhuis sees Jeffrey as a valuable asset to the Liability Team and she is certain that Jeffrey will quickly adapt to his new role.

A completely new face within the VNAB / Co-insurance world is Stef Piers. It is good to see the younger generation is interested in the insurance world where many of us have been working for so long. After more than a year of working at Talent & Pro in various positions, Stef is ready for a new challenge. Together with Jeffrey, Johan Roos and Nicole Nijhuis, they jointly form the core of the Liability Team at Liberty.

The rapid growth of our General Liability and Environmental Liability portfolio created the need to strengthen the team. Liberty is keen to keep the service to our brokers up to date and try to improve it where necessary.

Liberty will continue its growth ambitions in the Netherlands in 2021.
