Elie Bouchaaya

Elie Bouchaaya was appointed President, MENA, Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) on Feb 14, 2019. He is responsible for developing a profitable operation for LSM in the MENA Region, building a skilled team, and highlighting opportunities and growth potentials for LSM in the Region.

Before his appointment as President, Elie was Regional Manager and Senior Vice President at Liberty with the responsibility of building a footprint for Liberty in Dubai and UAE when the office opened in 2006.

During his 19 years with Liberty, Elie has established Liberty’s presence in the MENA Region and developed a very skilled and highly professional team.

Elie joined Liberty in 2006 from AIG where he was handling a variety of tasks and a general management role in the MENA Region, such as Saudi, Bahrain, and Oman…

Elie started his career in 1991 in Cyprus and has taken various responsibilities in the Insurance sector in the Gulf Region prior to joining AIG in 2001.

Elie obtained his MBA at St Joseph University in Beirut.
