Alexandra Paton appointed new European GFR Head

6 April 2017, LONDON – Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Alexandra Paton as Head of Continental Europe for Global Financial Risks (GFR).

Alexandra will be based in both Paris and London. She will report directly to Peter Sprent, LSM’s Head of Global Financial Risks, and Olivier Muraire, LSM’s Director General France and Southern Europe. She replaces Alex Egnell, who recently transferred to Liberty’s GFR operation in North America.

Alexandra will manage the existing team in Paris, and grow the GFR business in Continental Europe using Liberty’s network, reputation and brand strength.

Prior to joining LSM, Alexandra worked at AIG, Atradius and, most recently, as a founder and Chief Market Officer of the MGA, Equinox Global.
