Delegated authorities

A delegated authority scheme enables coverholders, under their own brand, to underwrite agreed products and within specific territories on behalf of Liberty Specialty Markets.

We have over 500 delegated authorities, providing solutions for many of our product lines in international markets. Our delegated authority team has experience across aspects of coverholder management to support our coverholders with necessary regulatory requirements across underwriting, claims, legal and compliance.

We can support coverholders both in respect of Lloyd’s or company market capacity and work with specialist delegated authority brokers to find the most appropriate solution.
