This painting circles around women’s identity. Glitches became a crucial part of this painting because they conceal her persona and take away her civil liberties. I have used the glitch as a device to camouflage her persona because to me, nothing is perfect. There are always inaccuracies and errors in human nature which lead us to act through our made up dogmas. My interpretations of the glitch in this painting show the beauty of the female figure, interjected by these malfunctions. They disguise her figure and it suddenly becomes a cloak of responsibilities for her. Hand gesticulation is so alluring to me because it describes the aftermath of a situation as well as the pain and suffering one undergoes throughout it.
