Light Relief
Exploring the often unquestioning faith Society places in medication and those that deliver it this work references stained glass windows found in religious settings. The colour and shape of the work reflect the diurnal round and the ritualization of both medical and faith observance.
Made from 4,000 resin ‘pills’ cast from emptied blister packs it represents the artist’s medication protocol over a 2 year period.
