All About My Father
Part of a series of expanded paintings, exploring the political and the personal while questioning the role of the elements that make up a painting.
This work combines a mapping of experiences shared with my father with an inversion of the conventional structure of a painting reflecting the inversion of our relationship when a premature illness increased his dependency on me.
